My understanding of the purpose of insurance is to help out in the event of unexpected expenses to prevent financial disaster..

If this were true why are laws in place that protect the insurance companies from paying?

Lets create an insurance company that does not need a manual describing what they wont pay for.

Lets make it simple you pay in you get restored in case of disaster.

Car accident,not my fault.Other party’s insurance agency trying to reimburse from me?

I met with an accident recently.I was driving a rental vehicle and had visa CDW insurance.I had no third party liability insurance.Now the other party’s insurance agency send me a notice saying that i need to reimburse their loss,claiming that it was my fault.So please guide me on how to approach this situation.Could i deny their claim saying like it was not my fault?Is it a problem that i had no liability insurance?

How do I write policies and procedures for a home health agency in NC?

I’m opening a Home Health Agency in NC. I’ve jumped through most of the hoops to be able to bill and work with Medicaid insurance in NC. Now I have to write a policy and procedure manual as well as job description for employees (CNA I, CNA II, PCS, In-Home Aide) Can anyone direct me in the right direction or give me some ideas. Obtaining License to Sell Insurance?

I have decided to obtain my license to sell Life And Health Insurance. Many companies offer prelicensing study guides, cd’s, audio, etc. for preparation at a cost. Does anyone know of an inexpensive way to prepare for this exam since I have limited funds? Thanks!

There are some very scary things in this bill. Elderly patients will be evaluated before treatment. Depending on their age & physical condition they may be denied treatment. I think there are no clear guide lines for what insurance coverage will be allowed. There seems to be an underlying agenda that isn’t quite clear. I don’t think people should support it without more facts.

What is the different between “Collision Damage Waiver” and “Liability Damage Waiver” for renting a motorhome?

I am not familiar with driving such a big car like motorhome with the manual transmission.However,I am going to rent a motorhome for traveling in New Zealand but I quite don’t understand about the insurance for the car renting.
I got an email from the motorhome renting company and I don’t understand some details about it.

“Our Standard insurance is a Collision Damage Waiver (CDW), which covers the hired vehicle, other vehicles and property up to NZ$1Million.The excess (bond) is :
NZ$ 1500,– ( for drivers aged 25 and over )
NZ$2000,– ( for drivers between 21 and 24 years of age )
NZ$ 2500,- ( for drivers under 21 years ) ”

What is the excess bond?
Why is it different between drivers age?

There is another options that is “Liability Damage Waiver” ,
the excess and bond can be reduced to :
NZ$ 250,- ( for drivers aged 25 and over )
NZ$ 500,- ( for drivers between 21 and 24 years of age )
NZ$ 750,- ( for drivers under 21 years )
Should I pay 16 NZ$ more to get this one instead?

I Dare You To Answer This! (Car Insurance For Vauxhall Corsa)?

LOLL this is kinda funny if your in my shoes, but so f-ing annoying: okay:

Basically i’m 16 turning 17 soon, and im thinking of getting a vauxhall corsa after everything, and i was just doing some back round checks about insurance, and how much everything would be, the road tax and fuel is fine, MOT and services are fine too, its just the INSURACNEEEE!

I’ll be paying for everything, im going to get a job and save up so i have a back plan if i say lose money or dont get enough, i dont have any proper family, so i cant go on my p’Parents’ policy, they dont drve anyway:

so im going to be the named driver, as i know that this is more expensive, i knew it would be expensive, as im male aswell, and 17, im more likely crash, which i understand bt why is insurance so high, ? ive got loads of quotes, all above 5000 for god sack that’s nearly three times as more as the car, why?

Can someone tell me the price (roughly) for insurance annually, for the Corsa its:

1.2
3 door
2002
manual
petrol
Alarm fitted

So whats the problem? whys it so high, it mut be a problem or something? i just want a damn car, and i dont think i can get one because the insurance rates.

My mate has a Vauxhall Astra 1.6 16v insurance on his dads policy for 123 a month, i know its gonna be cheaper to go on a ddifferent policy. and my other mate has a Ford Fiesta Zetec with insurance 120 a monthon dads policy.

Please help and Give me some advice and prices.

I’m a 17 and 1/2 year old looking for a 92-97 manual SC 300. I was wondering how much it would cost for Insurance in California? Also can I get it California DMV legalized if I swap the engine out for a 2JZGTE, a twin turbo version of the stock SC 300?
